Weeks Seventeen & Eighteen
The start of a new semester is always a great time to refresh! Our first week back to lessons included a review of studio policies with parents at each lesson as well as recording a new video to show students’ progress in their annual assessment videos.
The second week back included a not-so-fun surprise; a broken finger! However, this student and I chose to not let it deter us from the progress she has been making in piano lessons but, rather, to look at it as a fun challenge. She has been learning to play all sorts of music with just one hand and we’ve also been playing games to review theory in a fun way.
This week also included some new games, including “Hydrant Hullabaloo!” What a fun way to practice recognizing accidentals (sharps, flats, naturals) in music!
Students and parents, log in to see your calendar and to easily connect to your online lesson.
